Kathy Rennell Forbes is an accomplished International artist and instructor. Her artwork has been exhibited in museums and is held in private and corporate collections around the world, including the French Olympic Committee in Paris. Kathy conducts workshops in Cuba, France, Italy, Spain and the USA. She is a Signature Member and past President of the Georgia Watercolor Society and has won numerous awards in local, regional and national exhibits.

The artist won 1st Place in the 2016 Olmsted Plein Air Invitational paint quick competition. “We certainly recognized that Kathy is one of the great painters of the southeast and the nation. Her winning painting in the paint quick competition was a beauty to behold,” said a representative of the Olmsted. Judging was the editor-in-chief of Fine Art Connoisseur magazine and the director of the Georgia Museum of Art. Forbes was one of 30 invited “Master Artists” nationwide to the prestigious 2017 Olmsted Plein Air Invitational.
