About
the Artist:
|
 |
Kathy Rennell Forbes is a national
award-winning artist. She combines her passion for painting, the
outdoors, and travel. She works both realistically and abstractly.
For her landscapes, she prefers to paint in plein air where she can
take in all the elements, but also works from her outdoor sketches
and photos once back at her studio. She paints in watercolor,
acrylic, oil, and mixed media. Most of her abstracts employ mixed
media.
Kathy teaches a variety of drawing and painting classes in the
Atlanta area and workshops across the Southeast. Her works hang in
private collections throughout the United States and Europe.
